My Journey...
Being from Canada, there were two sports that I first started to play; Hockey and Lacrosse. I played competitive hockey for 8 years, when I decided to change my pathway and focus solely on lacrosse. When I was 5 years old, my lacrosse journey began. It started as a hobby in my front yard, but my love of the game soon grew. I was first enrolled into the Prince George Minor Lacrosse Association when I was 10 years old, where I played lacrosse for fun. It was two years later that I started to play on the Rep team, where in my first year of Peewee I was named an Assistant Captain. In 5 years of playing on the rep team, I have widely traveled across British Columbia and Alberta. In July of 2014, I was selected to represent Zone 8 at the BC Summer Games in Nanaimo for box lacrosse. My greatest feat in box lacrosse was when my team won silver in my hometown, Prince George, BC, at the 2015 Provincial Championships in the A2 Division. In Prince George, most winters contain 6 feet of snow, so field lacrosse is not too big of a game. This is why I decided to join the Burnaby Mountain Selects 2017 Elite Team in the Fall of 2014, and have continued to play through the 2015 fall season. On this team I have travelled to San Diego, CA, along with Baltimore, MD. Today, I am enrolled at Kelly Road Secondary School in Prince George, and I am also a part of the Canadian Sports School for Northern BC.
